New to CrossFit?

Step 1 – Come and Try

CrossFit is such a comprehensive way to fitness and better wellbeing it is difficult to explain so we offer a free trial session so you can check it out. We’ll explain what it’s about, run through some CrossFit basics on movement, mobility and nutrition and answer your questions.

After you’ve done your trial session you can join straight away (experienced CrossFitters) or jump into the 2-session Fundamentals Course and begin your path to fitness and wellness.

Step 2
2-session
Fundamentals Course (included in your first 2-weeks membership)

If, after your free session, you would like to join us, then you will need to complete the Fundamentals Course consisting of two educational sessions at the beginning of your 2-week membership. You will learn the 9 fundamental movements and the basics of Paleo/Primal nutrition, mobility, rest and CrossFit lingo.

The 9 fundamental movements are:

  • Squat
  • Front squat
  • Overhead squat
  • Strict press
  • Push press
  • Push jerk
  • Deadlift
  • Sumo deadlift high-pull
  • Med-ball clean

Fundamentals sessions are available Monday, Wednesday & Thursday at 5:30 pm for one hour. Normally two sessions are sufficient to cover these basics.

Step 3 – Join in!

Once you have completed the Fundamentals Course you are free to continue your membership and attend any of the group sessions and open gym sessions.

Experienced at CrossFit?

If you have been doing CrossFit for more than three months and are competent at the 9 fundamental movements, you are invited to do a free session and start your membership straight away.
